This one-of-a-kind reversible vintage kantha stitched cushion with a geometric green and blue pattern has plenty of texture, with detailed hand stitching adding the perfect finishing touch for a unique home with individual, boho style.

It's made from several layers of recycled cotton saris, hand stitched together by artisans in India to create wonderful one-off kantha fabric. We turn this fabric into beautifully textured cushions here in our studio in Sussex, UK

It has different patterns on each side and an invisible zip so you can use it any way up.

We have a few similar cushions all made from the same kantha quilt fabric so they will coordinate beautifully as a pair or trio on your sofa or bed. See below for others. These cushions are made from recycled fabrics, so expect the odd sign of wear and use.

SIZE: 50cm x 50cm (20" x 20")

Choose one of our British wool or premium duck feather and down cushion inserts, or use with your own similar sized cushion insert (or slightly bigger to really fill it out).

Materials

Made from 100% recycled cotton kantha quilts.
Kantha fabric is a traditional Indian technique for hand sewing layers of recycled saris together to make bedcovers and throws. The saris are usually cotton, hand printed using wooden blocks with vibrant, complex patterns

Eco-Friendly

All our textiles are made using natural materials including cotton, linen, bamboo (and occasionally polyester recycled from post-consumer waste). You won't find any fabrics made from raw plastics such as polyester or acrylic, or made using toxic chemical processes such as viscose or acetates. Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
