Crafted from recycled sari fabric and hand stitched, this vibrant kantha cushion cover blends bright orange and bold red floral patterns with artisan handmade texture. With its reversible rectangular design, soft layered textures and traditional kantha detailing, it’s a joyful clash of colour and craft.

Each cushion is completely unique, full of bold colour and crafted character—perfect for adding personality to a boho, eclectic, or colourful home. We also have 3 square versions in this pattern, cut from the same kantha piece.

It's made from several layers of recycled cotton saris, hand stitched together by artisans in India to create wonderful one-off kantha fabric. We turn this fabric into these beautifully textured, colourful, one-of-a-kind cushions here in our studio in Sussex, UK.

It has different patterns on each side, a flanged border for added structure and an invisible zip along one edge so you can style it any way up.

These cushions are made from recycled fabrics, so expect the odd sign of wear and use.

SIZE: 40cm x 60cm (16" x 24")

Choose one of our British wool or premium duck feather and down cushion inserts, or use with your own similar sized cushion insert (or slightly bigger to really fill it out).

Materials

Made from 100% recycled cotton kantha quilts.
Kantha fabric is a traditional Indian technique for hand sewing layers of recycled saris together to make bedcovers and throws. The saris are usually cotton, hand printed using wooden blocks with vibrant, complex patterns

Eco-Friendly

All our textiles are made using natural materials including cotton, linen, bamboo (and occasionally polyester recycled from post-consumer waste). You won't find any fabrics made from raw plastics such as polyester or acrylic, or made using toxic chemical processes such as viscose or acetates. Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
