Our leather strap hanging rail kit is designed to make displaying your textiles as easy and as stylish as possible.

Our kit contains:

• Real hand-cut leather hanging straps (a vegan version is coming soon!)

• Long brass screws that will hold the weight of a large textile

• Multi-use wall plugs that work in solid or plasterboard walls

• Bronze effect metal rings tested to grip properly on thick fabrics and thinner rugs such as kilims.

• Solid oak or light hardwood pole cut to size

THE POLE IS OPTIONAL.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We can only send poles up to 150cm (59”) internationally.

You can use any pole with a diameter 18-22mm (3/4-7/8") with this kit. Local DIY stores will generally have something available in that size.

We use around 1 clip every 20cm (8") to spread the weight. If in doubt choose the kit with more clips than needed.

Choose a pole about 10-15cm (4-5") longer than your textile or art so that the end clips don't fall off.

2 or 3 hand-cut leather hanging straps
Extra long 50mm (2") brass screws
Plastic wall plugs suitable for solid or plasterboard walls
25mm (1") Bronze effect metal rings with crocodile clips

Fitting Instructions

1- Measure your textile and drill two 6mm holes into your wall to a depth of 50mm (2").
The distance between the holes should be about 20cm (8") shorter than your textile so that the poles overhang on either side.
2- Insert the wall plugs into the holes. The ones we provide are suitable for solid or plasterboard walls.
3- Fold over the leather strap so the the holes line up
4- Insert the brass screw through the holes in the leather strap
5- Screw the brass screw in to the rawlplug using a flat head screwdriver
6- Thread the clip rings over your pole
7- Slide the pole through the leather loops. Leave a clip on the outside of each leather loop to prevent it sliding around
8- Clip on your textile art, step back and admire!

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
