Collection: Last of the May Kanthas Preview
This is the last of the kantha collection for May and it's all about the heavy texture that makes these kantha quilts so delicious and so collectible.
There's your classic weighty blanket kind of texture that we saw a few of in the last collection, or that soft, drapey, touchable texture you want to wrap yourself in, or the kind of distressed texture you only get with age, creating a landscape of colour and story that begs to be hung on a wall as art.
June will see some things that are a bit different - stunning patchwork ralli quilts from the other side of India and those kilims that still need mending... but there are still some lovely kanthas in stock too, they're just waiting for their slot in the laundry room...
