A beautiful vintage & authentic, highly collectible Vintage Sivas Gürün Cicim Kilim, hand-woven in the central-eastern province of Sivas, Turkey. Sivas is a famous, historic weaving province in central Anatolia, Turkey.

Sivas weavers traditionally weave their pieces in long vertical strip formats, using a combination of plain flat-weave and meticulous cicim brocading to add the tiny pixelated diamond filler motifs you see embedded in the tan and red tracks.

Founded in 1992 by curator Enbiya, the gallery is famous for hand-selecting authentic, top-tier Anatolian flat-weaves directly from village elders and collectors in Turkey

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
