Full of texture, authenticity and history, this one-of-a-kind handmade vintage kantha cushion in a deep blue with hand stitched patch details is perfect for adding instant bohemian colour and tactile character to your sofa or bedroom.

Our vintage kantha cushions are made from old damaged kantha quilts still too beautiful to discard, so we turn them into unique cushions. This kantha fabric is made from several heavy layers of recycled hand printed cotton saris, hand stitched together by artisans in India a few generations ago.

It's reversible with different patterns on each side and a super discreet invisible zip so you can use it any way up.

SIZE: 50cm x 50cm (20" x 20")

We have a few similar cushions all made from the same kantha quilt fabric so they will coordinate beautifully as a pair or trio on your sofa or bed. See below for others.

These cushions are made from recycled fabrics, so expect the odd sign of wear and use.

Choose one of our British wool or premium duck feather and down cushion inserts, or use with your own similar sized cushion insert (or slightly bigger to really fill it out).

Materials

Made from 100% recycled cotton kantha quilts.
Kantha fabric is a traditional Indian technique for hand sewing layers of recycled saris together to make bedcovers and throws. The saris are usually cotton, hand printed using wooden blocks with vibrant, complex patterns

Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
