Perfect for crafters, these offcut pieces of kantha fabric are here to feed your imagination and creative fingers!

Each of these pieces are offcuts from when older, damaged kantha quilts are turned into jackets and cushions in Japiur.

But we think they’re still too good to discard! Imagine the possibilities… cushions, small upholstery projects, bags, scarves, even pieced together as jackets or waistcoats, Christmas stockings, draught excluders…. The limit really is your imagination.

Each piece is hand stitched in the traditional kantha style, made from layers of recycled sari fabric.

They are all unique, they come in different weights, some with embroidery, others full of bold pattern and colour.

Approx size: 79cm x 48cm (31“ x 19“)

Each piece is individually priced.

Some have been cleaned, others may benefit from a hand wash.

You won't find any fabrics made from raw plastics such as polyester or acrylic, or made using toxic chemical processes such as viscose or acetates. Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
