Add instant colour and vibrant pattern to your lounge or bedroom with this one-of-a-kind upcycled sari kantha quilt! Entirely hand stitched using layers of recycled sari fabric, each of these lightweight kantha are super versatile, bold and full of originality.

These colourful kantha are hand stitched by women in rural villages in India, reusing old saris to create these distinctive throw blankets.

We love their versatility: Throw it over the end of the bed, drape it over a sofa or chair, hang it as a curtain, use as a boho tablecloth, throw it over a sun lounger or take it out for a colourful picnic. You can even use these to make your own cushions or one-of-a-kind clothing. Your imagination is the limit!

Kantha quilts have been made for centuries by artisans in rural India. They are handmade from layers of recycled hand printed sarees which are hand stitched together to create a reversible, one of a kind blanket. Each one is completely unique and come in different sizes, thicknesses and qualities. We hand select our kantha quilts for their bright colours, versatile sizes and unique patterns, and photograph them in as much detail as possible so that you can see the beautiful features of each one.

Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
