This indigo craft pack is perfect for creating your own Boro and sashiko designs using authentic old vintage cotton, indigo dyed and full of authentic character.

This unique, authentic fabric comes from Laos, South East Asia and was used as backing panels on vintage bedcovers. The fabric from older bedcovers is usually bundled and sent to Japan for authentic Boro craft.

It comes in a range of weights and colours, variations of authentically aged texture, some with holes and distressed areas to get you started with this fascinating Japanese mending tradition.

Create your own slow-stitch artwork, use it for bags, wall hangings, cushion covers, gift cards, book binding, bags and more!

Size/ Quantity: Each pack contains about enough for a 60cm x 60cm square (24” x 24”) made up of around 10 pieces of various sizes.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
